Delicious Upma Recipe

Preparation Time 10 minutes
Cooking Time 20 minutes





Ingredients:
1 Bowl Suji
1 medium sized onion
1 medium sized tomato
2 green chilly s
1 small piece of ginger
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon urad dal
3 to 4 curry leaves
 half bowl fresh green peas
1 small piece of lemon
Few Coriander leaves
Salt To Taste



Method 

1) Take a Kadhai add three tablespoon of oil heat the oil add mustard seeds when they begin to crackle add urad dal and stir it till it becomes brown.

2) Add curry leaves green chilles finely chopped ginger then add finely chopped onions and saute it then add tomatoes and saute it and add green peas and saute it by adding salt then add water and bring it boil and add lemon juice.

3) When the water is boiling add suji little by little and keep stirring it so that lumps are not formed when the water is absorbed and the suji leaves its sides, slow the gas sprinkle corriander leaves cover it with the lid.

4) Keep it for three to four ,minutes then off the gas and your Upma is ready. You can enjoy it during breakfast or during teatime.

Canapes Recipe


Canapes is a  fun recipe which is very simply to make. The dish can be savored with cold drinks and can make a great evening snack. The crispy snack can be prepared in just under 20 mins.

Ingredients :
Packet of Canapes
Boiled Potatoes
Chopped Tomatoes
Chopped Onions
Red Chilli Powder
Green Chutney (made from Pudina)
Chaat Masala
Salt to taste
Sweet Imli Chutney
Coriander leaves and sev to garnish



1) Chop two to three boiled potatoes into small pieces, 2 medium sized tomatoes and 2 medium sized onions.

2) Mix all with 1 teaspoon of red Chilli powder 1 teaspoon of Chaat Masala. Add some salt to taste.


3) Put the prepared mixture in the canapes and add 1 teaspoon of imli chutney 1 teaspoon of green chutney in each of the canapes


4) Garnish it with coriander leaves and sev and your canapes are ready to eat.


You can also give the filling of sprouted moong kabuli channa or with boondi raita.

Caramel Pudding Recipe

I decided to share this delicious desert recipe which can be savored after dinner or lunch. The recipes name is Caramel Pudding. It can also be called as Caramel Custard. The recipe is very easy to make and it would make a wonderful desert for all your guests and let me tell you kids would love to binge over it.

Preparation Time: 30 Mins 
Cooking Time: 25 Mins

Ingredients:

1 liter of milk
One Small Bowl of Sugar
6 Eggs
Vanila Essence

Method To Prepare:

1. Boil 1 litre of milk, and then lower the gas flame and add 20 tablespoons of sugar.




2.  And reduce the milk into half the quantity by stirring it in between by keeping the ladle in the vessel.Then let the milk cool down.



3. Beat the eggs in the bowl and add 1 tea spoon of vanila essence then add this to the milk and blend it with the hand blender.


4. Then take an aluminum vessel put three tablespoons of sugar spread it all over with two to three teaspoon of water.

5. Burn the sugar till it turns brown. Then take the mixture  and pour it into a vessel which has to be kept in the pressure cooker over a stand (Aluminium Ring Stand). Put 4 cups of water close the cooker by removing the whistle and steam it for 25 minutes. 

Then remove the vessel from the cooker. Let it cool down for 10 minutes and turn it upside down on a plate and your pudding is ready.

Aaloo Tikki Recipe

Aaloo Tikkis have been a long time favorite recipe for me and I have been serving it to my family, kids and all the guests who have turned up at our place. I decided to write in this easy, fun recipe which can be a great snack for your guests and they would go gaga over it.

Preparation Time: 20 Min's
Cooking Time: 10 Min's
Makes: 15 pieces of Aloo Tikki

Ingredients:

8 medium sized potatoes
8 Slices of Bread
1 Small Bowl of Suji
1 tsp Zeera
3 finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp red chilly powder
A few coriander leaves
Salt of to taste
Oil for frying

How It's Made:

1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker. Peel them and mash them.


2. Soak the bread slices in a bowl of water for half a minute. Remove the bread slices, squeeze the excess water and mix it with the mashed potato batter.


3. Add red chilly powder, zeera, salt and the finely chopped green chillies and mix it well.




4. Make round shaped tikkis with the batter.(the shape can be oval as well).


5. Dip the round shaped tikkis into Suji.


6. Heat the oil and fry the round shaped tikkis on high flame.


7. Serve the tikkis with tomato sauce or green chutney.
